2026 Tax Deadlines
The dates below cover calendar-year individuals and businesses. If your business runs on a fiscal year, or you're not sure which of these applies to you, call us — it's easier to ask than to guess.

IRS begins accepting 2025 returns
You can file before this date, but the IRS won't process anything until it opens the season.
You should have your W-2s and 1099s by now
This is the deadline for employers and clients to send these out — not for you to file anything yet.
Individual returns due (Form 1040)
Also the deadline for Q1 2026 estimated payments, IRA/HSA contributions for 2025, and filing an extension (Form 4868) if you need more time.
Q2 2026 estimated tax payment due
Q3 2026 estimated tax payment due
Extended individual returns due
If you filed Form 4868 back in April, this is the real deadline. There's no filing further out than this.
W-2s and 1099-NECs due to employees, contractors, and the IRS
Partnership (1065) and S-corp (1120-S) returns due
Also the deadline to file an extension for these entity types. Falls a day late this year since March 15 is a Sunday.
C-corp returns due (Form 1120)
Quarterly payroll tax return due (Form 941)
If Arrow handles your payroll, we track these for you automatically — you shouldn't need to think about this list.
